Abstract The pathogenesis of acute pancreatitis is complex and the mortality of severe acute pancreatitis is high. Fluid rehydration therapy, as the cornerstone of acute pancreatitis, has been paid more and more attention to its clinical significance. However, at present, the timing of rehydration, the type of rehydration, the speed of rehydration and individualized monitoring in the process of rehydration still need to be discussed. In this paper, the research status of rehydration therapy for acute pancreatitis at home and abroad is reviewed.
