Abstract Cardiac arrest(CA) is a major public health problem threatening human life and safety. After cardiac arrest and resuscitation, the body appears multiple organ dysfunction mainly caused by brain injury and cardiac dysfunction, which is called post-cardiac arrest syndrome(PCAS). Studies have shown that the incidence of acute kidney injury(AKI) in patients with cardiac arrest after resuscitation is as high as 50%, making it another common organ injury after the recovery of the heart and brain damage. How to carry out early prevention, identification and intervention treatment is very important for curbing the occurrence and development of acute kidney injury after resuscitation. This article reviews the progress in clinical diagnosis, epidemiology, pathogenesis, monitoring and treatment of acute kidney injury after cardiac arrest resuscitation.
