Abstract General medicine and emergency medicine have many similarities, but also exist obvious differences. If we realize the relation between these two subjects, they can be gotten much more promotion, and improve the level of medical services, benefit for the people. Understanding the difference between these two subjects, we will know they develop directions in different areas. Based on this, this paper will detail and explore the relationship between the general medicine and emergency medicine. First, we analyze the development and current situation. Second, we analyze the commonness between general medicine and emergency medicine. Finally, we analyze the difference between general medicine and emergency medicine. We aim to deepen the understanding of general medicine and emergency medicine, to provide some references for researchers in related field and the suggestion, and to promote the common development of the medical service.
